Piermario Morosini was an Italian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was born on July 5, 1986, in Bergamo, Italy.
Morosini began his career at Atalanta's youth academy before moving on to play for several clubs in Italy, including Udinese, Vicenza, and Livorno. He also had loan spells at Bologna, Reggina, and Padova.
Tragically, Morosini passed away on April 14, 2012, at the age of 25 during a Serie B match between Livorno and Pescara. He suffered a heart attack on the field and despite efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Morosini's death led to increased awareness of heart-related issues in football and prompted discussions on the importance of regular heart screenings for players. He is remembered as a talented and hard-working player who had a promising career ahead of him.
